- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The highlight of our Charleston trip was the 'Slavery to Freedom' tour with Matt of Classic Carriage Tours. We thought the whole thing would be hokey, but he (& horse Larry) was fantastic -- telling the stories that need to be told to better understand the Low Country, starting back in Barbados, and coming to modern times. I only wish we could have listened to him for another hour!!! It sped by too quickly. Do this! The tour's on at 1 pm daily.By Louise Senior, January 09, 2018
